Realism/semi-realism is not easy, no sir. But this is pretty ok, me thinks :3

As usual, Alex, my smexy immortal pirate dude (who really is a cowboy at heart x3)

He's too much of a pretty boy to be a real pirate, but pfft. Since I'm doing basically doing my degree in pirates (well, my final year thesis/dissertation xD), I'm allowed to be as historically inaccurate as I want in fantasyland ;3

So yeah, just as a little detail/background to go with this image since I do rather like it... Alex was my first 'real' character who I developed about five years ago now. He started off as some kind of gung-ho, over-enthusiastic ass, but now he's much more mellow, but still prone to snappish moments. As in this picture, he started off as a pirate in a RP, an RP that is still on going after said five years, but I also use him in a number of different situations (eg, western/superhero), mainly because his personality is that of a good lead character. And he's a cowboy at heart, as said above xD He's pretty much my baby (and I don't particularly want kids, so he fills that niche) xD
