Fancy That

Quicky Dek... because forget the 25th of December, it's all about that 27th this year.

Because after six months, comes the glorious return of Dekker and the Black Griffins in our Christmas-y all day, 9am-12am ish, DnD session 8D Our DM has stepped up and said he's up for trying his campaign again so long as we don't bicker and fall out with each other/him. So we're all to be on our best behaviour as it could mean we won't have to wait month for another session ;D Pfft best behaviour? Try that with Dekker, there's no such thing ;D

Oh how I'm looking forward to using my lad again, if not because it's going to start off so well for him ;3 Last we left off, he'd ran away after accidentally-on-purpose blowing magical powder across his party causing most of them to pass out in pain and very nearly killing the gnome he stole the powder from - not entirely his fault though because he thought it was something a little more awesome xD And then he failed to warn the party about a bunch of assassins that he tracked through the city so the sleeping Griffins were jumped in the middle of the night and nearly slaughtered - but as far as they're aware they have no idea he was watching in the shadows. I think we're going to go for complete innocence here... His tracking of them from rooftops was perfect, move silently and hide checks galore, but he/I flapped around too much so didn't yell out a warning as the assassins went in through the tavern's window as the party slept ahaha >.>

I spent the majority of the time drawing this listening to The High Kings and their Irish folk music (for example - www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OPy7-…) because it's Dekker to a tee (and I'm trying to learn the Irish accent/develop a speech pattern (eg me instead of my) so I can actually use it with Dekker for a little more RPing beyond the constant laughter that is classed as me being in character xD >.>) - I can also imagine him and Zeke putting on performances together with this style since Dek can dance the Irish slip/reel and Zeke's a string instrumentalist. And the two of them could sing well together I'm sure ;D Zeke can imitate accents after all, so could match Dekker's.

So to hell with Christmas, it's all about two days ~after~. Bring on the crazy Irish halfling 8D
