I had been planning on doing one of these for a long long time, but not tonight xD I just sat down earlier and started doodling Grayson a little younger and then got totally carried away. Hence why it's a little scruffy and sketchy... It wasn't supposed to be a finished product!

I decided to just do all of them in the same position for the sake of easier comparison - like you can see cheekbone/jaw line progression for example xD That and according to me getting older = getting smaller eyes. True fact.

LOL OLD GRAYSON AHAHAHA *sobbing* D: He's horrific. Silver hair what. Silver beard what. He looks like he's been snowed on. I might redo this when it's not midnight and I can be bothered. ... To be honest though I don't even know if Gray will reach 'elder'. I'm always thinking something at some point will kill him off and he'll never reach old age. I'll never write that, never think about how it might happen, but the thought that he'll cop it doing his vigilante work is pretty strong in the back of my mind when I think about his far future.

I'll go through the stages a little, just 'cause.

Young child - Gray was a mommy's boy, with his dad often away from home having been deployed overseas with the army. He was a cute little kid and entirely innocent. ~ Fun fact: Gray was born in the Dunes hotel, Vegas - his dad was still in the Middle East with the military and sent his pregnant mom to Vegas to stay in a hotel while she waited for him to get the chance to return home (his dad, Gabe, had never seen himself coming back from the Gulf War, so had sold ~everything~ he owned). It took him a lot longer to get home than planned, so his mom, in a foreign country where she hardly spoke the language, wound up giving birth to him in her hotel room. The Dunes is now the Bellagio, which is the site of the Rosso e Nero in my future Vegas C:

Child - He started to have a little more contact with his dad as he managed to get an elusive transfer from the army to the air force so he could be based at Nellis in Vegas. He was a little more of a brat, and the events of 9/11, when he was eight years old, changed him a little more, making him a little more defensive because of attacks on his family/his mom. ~ Fun fact: It was around this age, about seven I think I said, that he nearly drowned in his home's pool, sparking his fear of water.

Young teens - Not quite a badass and just a generally normal kid with average grades and a penchant for maths.

Late teens - Rebel Grayson was born. Sleeping around, getting drunk and smoking under age, sneaking into bars and clubs, getting caught by the cops, beating up other kids. He was a wild one who deserved the slaps around the head he often received.

Young adult - After ignoring his dad's desire for him to join the military and his mom's to major in maths at college, he moves out into a crappy apartment and gets a job working on the Strip. The world of work, specifically working at the Tropicana as a cleaner, mellows him out and does away with his nasty streak. He becomes more of a people person, finding work in bars and at reception desks in the Paris.

Adult - He finds himself dealing cards and playing croupier at the Paris, and when the Rosso e Nero opens in 2020, he jumps at the chance of swapping casinos, so moves across the strip, but continues to work the games. After an incident that nearly saw him killed, getting caught up with someone trying to rob one of the cashing desks, and using his common sense to apprehend the guy, he moves into security and works his way up in surveillance.

Middle age - Where he is now (specifically forty-one years). Was Head of Surveillance until the whole incident with the Four which saw him getting his techy upgrades and moving up in the world to their pet vigilante and the owner of the Rosso e Nero. But since he doesn't want to put the casino at risk, he lets someone else play the face of the casino and instead spends his time as Director of Security and Surveillance. When he's not saving the world and beating bad guys up, that is.

Elder - ... I'm still skeptical about this one. If he does reach this age he'll probably retire as best he can with all the enemies he's made and spend his last years relaxing in the Rosso e Nero, no doubt finally taking up the throne and becoming the real face of the resort.
